One day tours: Full payment due within 10 days of signing up.
Overnight tours: $200 deposit per person within 10 days of signing up. Final payment due 75 days prior to departure, unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation Policy: Any trip canceled 60 days or less from departure will forfeit any payment unless a replacement is found (either by you or through the office). No refund will be given for cancellations or no show on the day of trip. Prior to 61 days from departure any cancellations for overnight tours, that is under deposit will be charged a $50.00 service fee per person. There is absolutely no refund for trips including show tickets at any time – a commitment to any trip that includes a show means you are buying a non-refundable reservation. Refunds will only be made if you can find a replacement. Day trips that do not include a show ticket that are canceled 45 days prior to departure will receive a refund less a $25.00 service fee per person. You may also find your own replacement if we do not have a waiting list. All refunds will be processed 15-30 days after trip has departed.
“Things You Need To Know” About Our Motor Coach Tours”: Because of the large demand for many of our tours, in all fairness to everyone, payment will be due 10 days after reserving your seat. Your seat will not be guaranteed until payment in full is received. If payment is not received by the due date, your seat will be available to the next person on the waiting list. Our deposits and payments are due to the vendors by set deadlines, therefore it is important that we have the policies in place to ensure the trip will not be canceled.
Tips And Gratuities – Driver & Tour Manger: We work hard to make sure everyone has a great time, stays on schedule and stays informed along the way. Your driver & tour manager look after your safety and comfort for often 10-12 hours per day. As you know the gratuities for the driver and tour manager are not included in the cost of the trip so often times the question comes up of what & how. Since the driver and tour manager are performing in an unsupervised capacity tipping is a way of showing them the kind of job they are doing. As a standard in the industry, it is recommended the gratuity be $2 per customer, per day for each person (driver & tour manager). Of course, it goes without saying the amount of gratuity should always reflect the kind of job performed.
Responsibility: Star Travel and Tours, acts solely in the capacity of an agent on behalf of its tour patrons in arranging transportation, lodging, sightseeing and other services and as such, is not responsible for any company or person engaging in providing transportation, lodging or other services which are apart of the tour. We reserve the right to change lodging, transportation, itineraries or services which we feel will be the better benefit of our tour passengers. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time. We will not be responsible for any loss of tickets, accommodations, sightseeing or any other part of the tour lost due to weather, accident, act of war or terrorism, for any unforeseen conditions, or other companies providing services for the tour, due to bankruptcy or default. (All passengers or tour at any time). We will not be responsible for any injury at parking areas, while on tour, or of anyone entering or leaving, standing or walking in the motor coach or other transportation, whether in motion or not. Star Travel and Tours and all parking lot owners/renters will not be responsible for vehicles left parked in any parking areas designated for the tour. You park at your own risk and as such Star Travel and Tours and all parking lot owners/renters will not be responsible for any incidents occurring from parking your car or otherwise being picked up or dropped off in these designated parking areas. You park and board at your own risk.
